Daily Duties at Gbc (General Binding Corporation):
Supervised 475 Technicians in North America spanning 6 time zones. Traveling 95% to assist, train & mentor local technicians at customer sites. Troubleshoot, diagnose, formulate solution, design applications, increase production, reduce cost and train customer's staff. Work closely with Engineering on prototype equipment and Beta Sites including monitoring sites for 1 year. Document all field issues and make design changes to production models. Provide phone & internet technical support to technicians. Head monthly Quality Control Meetings with Engineering, Sales & Technical Support Staff. Conduct Advanced Technical Training to Technicians around the world at GBC Factory.
