Daily Duties at Smiths Detection, Inc.:
Brought in as a "Contract Design Consultant" to analyze a new piece of equipment going through development. My tasks were to review the PCB "GERBER" files purchased from an outside firm and to review the mechanical design of the chassis. I was also tasked to specify and source vendors for several remaining electro-mechanical components.
