I researched current process efficiency models and developed a strategy which consisted of the following steps: Establish and Sustain Commitment (includes management commitment and adequate resource allocation), Plan (identify, prioritize, select prospective areas for improvement, and then specify prospective quantifiable measures for each area), Perform (Collect and prepare measurement data, prepare analysis and present data), and Evaluate (review changes, verify effectiveness, and identify further areas of improvement). I managed the schedule and the team deliverables, set targets for the Systems Engineering Productivity Goals, subcontracted work to engineers in Wayne, NJ and Reston, VA, and managed an engineer in-house by hosting consistent meetings, requesting weekly status reports, and provided feedback on delegated tasks.
