Daily Duties at Parsons Incorporated:
Under contract with B&W to developed project specifications and test procedures in the start-up of systems at the HEUMF Y-12 storage facility. To perform in this position I was required to have knowledge in complex Pre-Op tasks i.e. , hot functional testing, integrated leak rate/structure integration; Perform complicated Startup tasks i.e., performance testing and secondary confinement pressure testing; Provide site support/supplement training support; Project manager for small contract Startup scopes; Review and approve complex testing; Lead test engineer at site; Review and approve completed procedures, implementation of procedures and resolves nonconformance; Required excellent communication skills and a broad range of technical knowledge related to either mechanical, electrical or I&C engineering in addition to testing mechanical, electrical or I&C SSC; Knowledge of digital controls (PLC's); Able to perform system field walk downs. Responsible for the oversight of a team of four Start-up Test Engineers.
