Daily Duties at Lorraine Construction, Inc:

•Worked directly with Owners, General Contractors, management and vendors to achieve positive results for project. •Responsible for directing various construction project purchasing functions; scheduled construction phases with customers, architects, and subcontractors. •Reviewed project specifications and blueprints with bidding third party contractors and/or vendors in order to solicit bids. •Verified all contracts and orders for fulfillment and well performance in order authorize payment. •Took independent decisions and organized daily office functions. •Managed sub-contractor purchase / change orders, equipment rentals and materials purchase. •Monitored projects on site as General Contractor representative. •Prepared invoices and payroll using AIA format. •Developed company purchase orders and agreements in order to maintain accurate time line tracking of projects and contractor billing. •Performed accurate and efficient bid tabulations using personal computer and spreadsheet software. •Responsible for communicating clearly, politely and concisely in order to improve business relations. •Sustained and developed a robust and responsive supply base that provided the needs of the business requirements. •Conflict resolution relating to business, construction and owner. •Prepared materials and equipment lists required for construction purposes and placed orders with vendors. •Inspected project under development to ensure compliance of policy and procedures as well as contract and safety standards.
