Daily Duties at Renmatix:

• Reviewed the pilot plant utility requirements, and involved in boiler troubleshooting. • Performed Material and Heat balances, cost estimation summary, and other reports for the 100kg/day pilot scale at a regular basis. • Prepared Engineering Memos. • Worked with maintenance technicians - performed equipment inspection regularly to ensure safe, optimum and efficient plant operations and thus reducing equipment downtime. • Performed hands-on operation on the continuous pilot scale process, generated data, prepared and presented data reports. • Worked with equipment like slurry pumps, acid pumps, pressure regulators, SS piping and tubing, tube-in-tube heat exchangers, etc. • Overseeing and supervising Plant operations. Directing, and coordinating activities regarding design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in demo plant. • Carried out HAZOP over new process or changes in an existing process such as Acid Injection, etc. • Worked with engineering teams and fabricators, providing them with existing process details and possible scale up issues that could occur. • Developed SOP’s and manuals for equipment start-up, shutdown and emergency conditions. • Mapped the process reaction and made a prediction profile for regions of optimum product yields through a preparation of a report on kinetics and response surface model of the process.
