Daily Duties at Pacific Northwest National Lab:

• Studying the performance of kenaf fiber by chemical modification (alkali, ionic liquid & super critical fluid). Performed mechanical, thermal, structurl, morphological, dynamic mechanical testing on untreated and treated kenaf fibers. • Investigating techniques of compression molding for epoxy resins and kenaf fibers. Developed different expoxy resins to increase the interfaical boding and decrease the defects within the panel of composites. • Developing light-weight, low-cost natural fiber composites─with superior mechanical properties for automobiles.
