•Develop the needs of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. •Expand resources in the community that are needed and desired by the consumer to maximize his/her ability to remain functional within the community that will increase their independence. •Instrumental in the reduction of hospitalizations and use of emergency services to improve client’s quality of life. •Work closely with client’s to provide understanding, support and direction. •Advocated for appropriate and needed social services. •Assessed, evaluated and planned services needed by the individual. •Counseled individuals as needed on a daily basis. •Counseled- Mentally handicap clients with depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia disorders on a daily basis. •Counseled- Adolescents with physical, mental, emotional, verbal abuse and psychological disorders.
