. In September 2011, I was accepted as a teaching assistant in SBU for the course Embedded Microprocessor Systems Design. In the next four months, I dedicated myself to eleven experiments which required me to write programs and design functional circuits based on ATmega16 microcontroller to achieve specific functions. In this course, students were asked to use programmable microcontroller and peripherals to build a small system to implement functional circuit designs like measuring temperature and environment pressure, controlling LED/LCD and simple alarm system. To understand that, one should not only know how to use assembly language, but also get a well knowledge of usage of all peripheral chips. Being a teaching assistant meant that I must accomplish the assigned experiment on my own before students’ lab and correct any potential limits
