Directed health and safety program for regional pediatric hospital with 10,000+ employees in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Managed $300,000 budget and 2 direct/11 indirect reports. Created and maintained documentation and reports for city, state and federal agencies. • Achieved zero penalties following federal or jurisdictional compliance inspections during tenure. • Trained staff and clinicians to prepare for 2 JCAHO cycles at main campus and 3 satellite clinics. • Developed comprehensive tuberculosis respiratory protection program capable of reacting to unforeseen admissions anytime throughout the year. • Fostered safety mindset that encouraged staff to actively engage in programs addressing unit specific health and safety issues. • Advocated for integration of ergonomics into construction services plans to improve working conditions for staff involved in renovations or additions.
