Daily Duties at Serena Software Inc.:
•Analyze customer requirements, recommend deployment architectures, and consult on configuration management and requirements best practices. •Support user base of 2500 in use of Dimensions CM and RM. •Define and document customer requirements and specifications for configuration, reports, integration, and data migration related to Serena products. •Configure and maintain Serena products in support of customer requirements. •Design, develop, test, document, and deploy reports, integration, and data migration for Serena products in support of customer requirements. •Baseline, release, deploy, and build software according to the customers schedule and in accord with CBP standards and best practices. •Support enterprise change control boards to include QA of change requests prior to elevation to board. •Design and execute test plans to insure correct function of development deliverables •Participate in meetings where objectives and requirements are articulated and defined. •Adhere to development lifecycle processes of Serena and our customers. •Deliver project task responsibilities correctly and on-schedule. •Assist in pre-sales support, post-sales technical support, and product instruction. •Work cooperatively with project team members, including Serena personnel and its subcontractors and customers. •Appear at customer sites to assist with installation, requirements definition, configuration management process consulting, configuration, development, testing, promotion, training, and go-live activities •Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of Serena products and the environments in which they perform, as well as product and project delivery lifecycles. •Support internal projects as required
