Daily Duties at Herkert & Son, Inc.:
Daily site visits to each job, meet with inspectors, plan work based on materials on hand and schedule with other contractors on site to ensure our activities would not interfere with their work. Fill out daily work sheets on progress and go over with facility or city manager to maintain time schedule. Help supervisors with day to day activities if workload was too much. Follow up with supervisors on reporting for payroll, and double check inventory to ensure of no delays. Check for cleanliness of storage and work site to ensure safety of men and product. Keep crew size streamlined and efficient. Ensuring all crew members are clear in their responsibilities and keeping up morale.
