Daily Duties at Public Broadcasting Service (Pbs):

Conducted a variety of advanced quantitative and qualitative television audience research projects. Managed projects for Member Affairs, Finance, and Content Services. Conducted annual surveys to PBS stations for all three departments. Supervised the daily production of Nielsen Overnights Metered Market ratings reports, including maintenance of the operating software and database, preparation of annual Overnights Ratings Handbook, and management of the relationship with the vendor supplying the ratings. Supervised the Senior Research Associate who handled daily Nielsen Overnights Metered Market processing. Oversaw the production of all other local-market Nielsen audience reports by compiling program orders for Nielsen on a regular schedule, specifying the kind of data to be produced, checking the data on arrival, and managing PBS Research staff who prepared tables from the data. Managed the PBS Viewer Panel, a group of 7,000+ PBS viewers and non-viewers who provide feedback on marketing and promotional concepts through online surveys. Duties included serving as a liaison between external market research company that houses the database and internal PBS clients to coordinate and launch several different types of studies. Successfully recruited over 3,000 new members to the Panel over the course of one year.
