Daily Duties at Pet Smart:
During my time as the Acting Store Manager I have had heavy involvement in handling human resource procedures, loss prevention procedures, and sole development of employees and managers. I develop associates and managers by the people, process, and leadership methodologies to determine their potential for growth opportunities. I have full knowledge and experience in analyzing profit and loss statements to further develop the store operationally. I lead the culture of the business through motivating associates in leading by example. I employ the philosophy of cascading information “two up/two down” in order to be consistent with communicating vital company objectives to all employees in order to secure the daily business of the company. Weekly duties included controlling key expenses such as payroll, supply budget, and loss. The volume of the store is $4 million a year with management of twenty nine associates and six managers.
