Daily Duties at The Ups Store, Merdeka Inc.:

(MORE DETAIL - HOW MANY EMPLOYEES?5 - one store manager 4-5 PT employees at any given time) Joined South Bend Chamber of Commerce. Provided presentations to various business meetings at the chamber. Organized, set up display at South Bend Small Business Expo at Century Center in South Bend IN. Created brochures and handouts, met and acquired 23 new business customers through that event. This resulted in a 5% increase in monthly sales for the store. Implemented corporate mandated monthly promotions reported results. Attended quarterly training and center owner meetings in Indianapolis. Provided data to members of what worked and what didn't work in our store from the previous quarter. The outcome of the meetings provided my store new client contacts that I would not have had knowledge or a contact name and phone. I personally set up meetings with the new potential clients and presented new business packets and promotions that applied specifically to their type of business. Acquired new business through this effort 40% of the time.Manage employees, sales transactions, P & L, inventory, pricing, returns, USPS, Fed EX, and UPS contracts.
