Create and implemented companywide program for telecommuting, resulting in real estate savings and improved employee retention.Led national shared services team, providing customer focused and cost effective internal business unit support (Claims, Facilities, Procurement, Accounting). Managed 68 office locations and a 6 million dollar department budget. Created cost saving initiatives to achieve annual savings of nearly $700,000 in 2007, including outsourcing, process improvement and staffing level adjustments. Implemented continuous quality and process improvement programs, resulting in $252,000 annual savings, based solely on initial employee suggestions. Re-structured management reporting to improve average span of control and save over $200,000 annually. Challenged and developed managers and staff, resulting in the promotion of 3 direct reports in 2007. Implemented multi-year, multi-million dollar outsourcing project, reducing overhead costs and improving service levels by two points.
