Responsible for New Product Development projects from conception to production. Designed products to comply with Lean Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing principles. Participated in 6S, Kaizan and rapid continuous improvement initiatives. Performed Technical Sales functions at trade shows and special events. Supported product and customers with field service when necessary. Supervised U.L. and reliability testing for new products. Developed the first patented indoor/outdoor hurricane rated fireplace in the hearth industry. Developed and patented the first active heat management fireplace – the Perrinnea. Instrumental in developing fast-track field service kit for CPSC recalled product
