Accountable for maintaining all production lines and minimizing any downtime which included troubleshooting and repairing a multitude of specialized production equipment. Trained UAW Union employees on proper operation and care of production equipment. Handled day to day problems related to production by providing corrective action and always finding ways to make the equipment safer, more productive and more reliable. Reduce equipment downtime through proactive preventive maintenance programs. Reduce operator injuries fatigue by improving ergonomics of work stations and eliminating potential hazards before they become harmful. Reduce potential for injuries by ensuring that all safety equipment is operational and being used correctly.
