Daily Duties at Donaldson Company Inc.:

Pleater operator is the very beginning of the main production lines, it sets the pace for the rest of the line and is the most critical and delicate part of the air filter production process. Set up pleater according to route sheat. Set pleat bed height, carryout speeds preheat temperatures as needed to obtain the best final product. Ensure that the filter media is not damaged in the process by adjusting several areas of the machine. Save samples for quality control testing. Fill out media scrap reports. Setup machine several times each day for differant sized elements in 6 minutes or less.
