Daily Duties at Anthropologie:

Liaison between the design, buying, and production teams (internally). Develop and monitor all phases of development from Design conception through sample approval. Ensure the timely delivery of design briefs to the vendor and ensure consistent daily communication with vendors throughout development unto approval sample. Allocate pre-style development. Maintain seasonal product development information via WIP’s and line sheets. Manage the product development time & action calendar –identify exceptions and offer solutions. Schedule & conduct weekly Design Flow meetings. Proto, Finalization, & Recap meetings. Prioritize the order briefs are designed based on traveling dates, lead times, & needs of the buyers. Highly knowledgeable of vendor capabilities & continually update the capability library. Understand the Development Lead-times globally and use the knowledge to challenge vendors, working to reduce when possible. Provide strong leadership to development staff to enable their growth. Improved adoption rates over each season and hit approved line plan style count measured by seasonal line plan actualization. Troubleshoot material, price, and sourcing, while supporting design’s needs and business requirements.
