Daily Duties at Cisco Systems:

Maintain full accountability for supervising all aspects of day-to-day regional health and security activities in support of organizational goals. Apply strategic planning, prioritization, and project management skills toward consistently achieving critical deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Steer regional physical security operations (leveraging Access Control/CCTV/Vendors) for Asia, with responsibility for overseeing 70 facilities, Data Centers and 10,000+ staff, with strong focus on optimizing productivity and performance. Conduct in-depth risk and threat assessments, design innovative solutions to secure Cisco employees, assets, and Data Centers in Asia. Lead cross-functions initiatives with HR, WPR, Legal, Communications, IT and Executives. Selected Highlights: • Optimized critical security and integrity of operations by strategically designing and executing proactive risk assessments, and audits (SAS 70, ISO 14001, 27001 and J-SOX/SOX). • Train, mentor, and supervise staff in compliance with company security policies and procedures as well as in accordance with Cisco culture and responsiveness to business needs. • Successfully enhanced financial management compliance against budgetary tolerances, procurement policies, and vendor management, while maintaining a $900,000 USD annual budget. • Actively supporting senior management in critical decision-making and business planning initiatives by efficiently producing detailed technical investigative reports, risk assessments, metrics, and safety messaging. • Manage the following programs: Access Control/CCTV, Audits, Background Checks & Badging, Business Continuity, Crisis & Incident Management, Emergency Preparedness, Emergency Response Teams, Executive & Event Protection, Investigations, Security Awareness Training, Security Guards, and Workplace Violence. • Served as the Subject Matter Expert: Incident Commander for the Japan 9.0 Earthquake.
