Daily Duties at Oakland University Center For Education Cooperation And Exchange:
Assist the Center in developing and administrating International Exchange Student Programs in the areas of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering. For incoming exchange students(qualified students applying for a semester or year) what I do is to communicate with them when they have troubles and provide my own experience, advice to them about study (assistance with course selection and general academic advice like school assignments), housing like how to find off-campus accommodation in shared houses or apartments with other students. We cooperate with some universities in China for the exchange program. I just keep in touch with those prospective exchange students on preparation application documents.
