Daily Duties at Med Fusion :
As Field Services Supervisor/Project Manager, promoted after one year to lead a team of field services specialists in driving clinical laboratory services implementation/conversion projects. Collaborates with Account Executives/Sales Representatives in providing pre and post analytical support to hospital and physician office staff members through the conversion management of their clinical laboratory services: Provides a resource to field sales in the form of project management, laboratory operations, and technical expertise. A resource that is focused on pre-sales, conversion and post-sales clinical activities. Flexible and nimble in keeping up with customer needs; is on the cutting edge of defining their next level of expectations, and working to exceed them. Confidently makes competent decisions and takes suitable actions when presented with situations that are unclear or problems that are unfamiliar. Puts into practice values and behaviors that contribute to group effectiveness and performance, and the achievement of team objectives. Works closely with sales to guide them in following conversion management processes, pre-conversion meetings, completing the Conversion Implementation Checklist. Provide operational expertise during follow-up activities demonstrating effectiveness while handling objections and troubleshooting. Training of Physicians, Nurses, Medical Technologists , and other staff members on specimen handling, specimen transport, order entry and results look-up in Lab Information System, Meet with team members regularly to ensure project milestones are met. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Coordinates med fusion resources as required for each project including courier services, client services, client supplies, and laboratory and Site Management Office personnel.
