Daily Duties at University Of Rochester Medical Center:
Coordinated and conducted 10 randomized, placebo-controlled, multi-center clinical trials that enrolled over 250 patients with chronic heart failure or acute coronary syndrome. Performed in-depth cardiopulmonary and complete physical assessment and health history, eligibility screening, and obtained informed consent from patients. Collaborated with MD investigator in patient care, including urgent/ non-urgent medical issues, telephone triage, monitoring lab tests and procedures and determining need for intervention. Provided nursing care and in-depth patient education in heart failure symptom management and exacerbation prevention. Participated in protocol development, IRB submission and approval process, and attended investigator conferences.
