•Studies on signal transduction and its effect on malignancy: Studying the signaling involved in transcriptional regulation of MUC4 in upregulating pancreatic cancer. •Protein–DNA interactions studies (chIP analysis), Gene Reporter assays (luciferase assay, CAT assay). •Studied the assigned tasks thoroughly before the actual experimentation and discussed doubts with the senior scientists. •Studied structure to function relationship including optimization of cell-based and bioactivity assays (viability, cytotoxicity, and apoptosis, etc.), enzymatic activity and inhibition characterization, immunochemistry, and mycoplasma testing.
