Daily Duties at College Of William & Mary, Mercury Global Inquiry Group:

• Program Associate to a campus-wide interdisciplinary study involving the examination of mercury as a global contaminant and its effects on nature, the environment, and a variety of cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. • Assisted in planning and organizing the project’s 2009-2010 Film Festival, a lecture series for the Christopher Wren Society for Continuing Education, and a lecture series for the College’s Environmental Science and Policy department. • Met with faculty and staff members for the purpose of planning the project’s International EXPO 2010. • Worked closely with the co-directors and producer to plan and organize events for the EXPO. • Contacted media outlets and potential sponsors for the purpose of promoting, advertising, and funding the event. • Communicated and corresponded with a variety of contacts for the film festival and two lecture series, including scientists, researchers, educators, film directors, media contacts, and celebrities.
