Daily Duties at City Of Colorado Springs:
Budget Analyst, Business Analyst, Support Manager Directly responsible for the development, management, reporting and presentation of the Public Works, Street Division operating and capital budget, $43 million annually. Responsibilities to include management of accounting, ensuring timely and accurate completion of annual audit and financial reports in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Accurate business planning and forecasting to include strategic planning and decision making through the analysis, presentation and distribution of relevant and timely information compiled for and distributed to city management. • Project management responsibilities to include: Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), Road Weather Information System (RWIS), Pavement Management Application (PMA). City of Colorado Springs Senior Business Analyst 1999 - 2001 Provide internal consulting services to the City of Colorado Springs. Responsible for working directly with all departments throughout the City to identify, assess and implement work practices, procedures and/or technology to provide additional efficiencies and effectiveness in the work environment for the 2,200+ employees. The following are a few of the projects that I have completed: • Clarify, Constituent Relationship Management (CRM): Co-leader in the communications, training and implementation of Clarify throughout the entire City of Colorado Springs. • City Engineering, Staffing Assessment: Completed an internal assessment and audit of the staffing needs for the City of Colorado Springs City Engineering Unit, 30+ employees. The assessment entailed intimate and detailed discussions with the core management City Engineering employees, as well as researching nationwide the ways and manners in which other public and private entities addressed their staffing needs. • City Planning, Development Review Enterprise: Project lead in the assessment and development of a self-sustaining development review group.
