Daily Duties at Denver Federal Center, Dept Of Interior, Surface Mining:
Project Manager responsible for the implementation of the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) nationwide for the Office of Surface Mining. Duties to include planning, organizing, managing resources and controlling the project to ensure the implementation of critical interfaces; to balance the development needs relating to system maintenance. Key areas of emphasis: • Risk Management Analysis • Communication of Plans and Status • Complete Implementation of Project Plan • Evaluating the Project and Results The implementation of the FBMS information technology project will replace eighty-one (81) antiquated systems throughout the Department of Interior.
