As worldwide head of legal department(based in London)of specialty chemicals division, served as chief legal adviser to division President and senior LT. Managed and led a team of 17 commercial and IP attorneys with a department budget of approximately $1.5 billion. Responsible for administering all performance management and compensation matters for all staff. Directly provided or supervised staff with respect to M&A work and other alliance transactions including technology licenses, joint development agreements and JV's, litigation and claims management, formulation of major compliance policies including antitrust, legal support of all crisis management issues, corporate governance, antitrust counseling.
