Daily Duties at Southfork Development Group:

Missouri Flat Bulk Wine Storage – Placerville Ca Perform market study of all wineries in Amador and El Dorado County regarding the construction of a bulk wine storage facility and what services to offer the local wineries. Design and layout bulk wine storage facility for maximum efficiency. Negotiate contracts with vendors for operational equipment such as racking, forklifts, trucks, software, alarm, access control and video security. Develop operational policies and procedures and write operations manual. Write all operational forms and contracts Prepare and submit all documents to the Alcohol Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for a Federal Tax Bond to store non tax paid wine. Prepare and submit all documents to the ABC for a type 14 liquor warehousing license. Schedule and attend TTB reporting procedures training. Train all operational personnel on bulk wine storage and transportation procedures. Train operational personnel on forklift and flatbed truck operation. Transition wine storage operations to Management Company. Goldkey Boathouse – El Dorado Hills CA Perform market study for the construction of the first inland dry stack boat storage facility in the USA. Project manage the construction of the 60,000 sf five story boathouse which included a marine retail store. Attend weekly meetings with the contractor and represent the principles and their interest Develop all operational policies and procedures for daily operations which included, boat and RV storage, maintenance, retail sales, safety policies, AP/AR reporting, etc. Write operations manual, develop operational forms and contracts. Develop boat winterization program Develop high end Valet Service to include boat preparation, pick up and delivery to Folsom Lake with lunch, drinks, towels and ice. Select vendors for security, video surveillance, retail merchandise and POS software. Design IT infrastructure layout for computers, POS and printers. Purchase all capital equipment such as trucks, forklifts, merchandising gondolas, beer/drink refrigerators, etc. Design layout of retail store and perform store set. Train all operational personnel and conduct safety meetings. Negotiate with Parks and Recreations for a concession to deliver and pick up boats at Folsom Lake. Locate and purchase a type 20 off sale beer & wine liquor license for sale in our area. Negotiate sale price, terms and open escrow Prepare and submit all documents to the ABC for the purchase and transfer of said license Publish notice of intent and notify all real property owners Post facility with intent to sell beer and wine Transition boat storage operations to Management Company. Goldkey Cellars – El Dorado Hills Ca Perform market study for climate controlled personal wine storage in Goldkey Storage Barrel Room. Prepare and submit all documents to the ABC for a type 42 Beer and Wine liquor license Research county code requirements to allow for commercial usage of the Barrel Room Meet with county Board of Supervisors regarding the commercial use of the Barrel Room for wine tasting and functions. Meet with Fire Marshal to confirm sign off and compliance as to basement egress and request documentation for the county Prepare and submit the amendment to the Special Use Permit for use of the Barrel Room in a commercial capacity Confirm county environmental sign off of the catering kitchen Prepare and submit to Kocal Management a request to possess a type 42 liquor license and use the Barrel Room in a commercial capacity Attend and represent Southfork Development at the county TAC meeting to amend the special use permit. Work with county planner to prepare a staff report to allow SUP amendment Negotiate with vendor and facilitate elevator security and lockout to the Barrel Room. Watermark Marina of Snake Creek – Islamorada Florida Project manage the erection of the boat racking structure, dock systems and office Attend weekly meetings with the contractor and represent the principles and their interest Inventory all existing operational equipment and systems on-site Design office layout Design retail layout Design deck layout Prepare a scale drawing of the office work space, casework and counters, retail layout and deck layout. Submit to contractor for submittal to architect Prepare application and all documents to be submitted to the ABC for an on-site beer and wine license Research club software and negotiate with vendor of installation and training. Design IT, communications and security infrastructure and requirements Carson Creek Business Park – El Dorado Hills Ca Project manage the development of a 11 acre 5 building business park Facilitate the interview process for real estate agent representation Attend weekly meetings with the contractor and represent the principles and their interest Attend weekly marketing meetings and provide input to assist in marketing Design the layout of the first 5 planned rental suites Determine power, phone, data, alarm and other system needs for rental suites and corporate offices Design Southfork Development’s corporate offices Prepare a scale drawing of the SFD office layout and submit to architects Contract with R&M furniture to provide movable wall systems for Southfork offices Design and layout Southfork office movable wall systems Assist with choice of color and fabrics Design layout of all freestanding office furniture Contract the alarm, data and phone system installation Schedule and coordinate the installation of all systems, walls and furniture Assist with construction walk through and punch list preparation Research requirements and coordinate with the post office the location of all mailboxes Coordinate and oversee the corporate office move into the new facility Watermark Marina of Wilmington – Wilmington NC Project manage the construction of a 40 acre Marina and yacht club Project included a 6000 sf 2 story yacht club with a restaurant, full bar, marine retail, deli and quest suites. 100,000 sf 5 story indoor dry stack boat house and a 1000 foot long pier. Attend weekly meetings with the contractor and represent the principles and their interest Facilitate the construction and installation of the rendering Design and layout all power, phone, data, security, access control, audio, video and surveillance systems and requirements Secure quotes from vendors for all systems Design retail area, slat wall placement, gondola design and layout Negotiate with Maurice Sporting Goods what fishing and marine merchandise to stock. Facilitate order of merchandise and store set Assist with and facilitate the design of the Watermark burgee Negotiate DTV package and equipment Assist with the choice of furniture vendor Assist with the interior design and choose interior and exterior furniture, window coverings, artwork and accents Schedule systems and furniture installation Assist in bar back design component installation Manage and assist in the choice of beer, wine and mixed drinks to provide Facilitate the exchange of bar equipment to allow for a wine cooler and wine bar Research software to find a solution for our needs.
