Daily Duties at Qbe:

• Responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling first party Commercial and Homeowner property claims. • These are claims involving burglary, theft, robbery, wind and hail, fire, lightning, water damage, equipment breakdown, contractors equipment, and employee dishonesty claims. • Provided timely and accurate information by phone or email to internal and external customers. • Sent Reservation of Rights/Non Waiver letters, and claim denial letters, when necessary. • Refer claims to SIU. • Forward subrogation files to Subrogation Unit. • Report losses to ISO Claim Search program. • Manage loss costs; Indemnity, ALAE and ULAE. • Manage file inventory. • Use of independent adjusters to help control losses.
