Daily Duties at International Paper:
* Conduct informal interview with customer contacts and industry personnel to gain and maintain a basic understanding of target customers’ operational practices, customer base, supply channels, service expectations and financial requirements. * Gain and maintain an understanding of target customers’ strategic goals, marketing plans, and operational practices, to increase opportunities to create satisfaction and loyalty. * Assist in the development of communications programs based on competitive Features-Advantages-Benefits for IP product attributes that provide added-value to the customer. * Continually increase knowledge of how cross-functional company resources and capabilities can be aligned to improve delivery of key customer value propositions. * Constantly analyze the competition’s approach to the market, and their performance within the market so that performance gaps can be exploited.
