Underwrote insurance applications; nationally marketed our services to potential and existing producers; oversaw staff of two - one Underwriting Assistant and one clerk; reported directly to President/Owner. Identified internal procedural improvements, designed and recommended redial actions. Identified internal staff's additiona training and development needs, recommended action plan to President, implemented as approved. Negotiated and secured reinsurance partner approvals of risk as needed. Prepared contract issuance instructions and oversaw such preparation handling until satisfactory delivery was confirmed. Nurtured producer client relationships telephonically and via minimal marketing travel.
