Daily Duties at Prudential:
Set up and implement sales production business plan. Cold & warm sell fixed life, health, disability income, long term care, homeowners/renters and automobile insurance; as well as mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities, and, variable life insurance. Cold calls from prior purchased lists. When selling a non-investment related product, during at least two meetings with client(s) either in their homes or at my office, personally interview prospective clients; identify their needs & desired goals; assess & determine their most suitable solution recommendations. Following all that, revisit with prospect(s) with appropriate product illustrations. Upon discussing the solution presentation recommendations, client(s) hopefully chooses those which are most attractive to him &/or her. At such point of discussion, take his &/or her application(s); &, if appropriate, a check for deposit & provide a receipt if check is accepted. Then I'd submit the application docs to the ins. co.'s representative & order any required physical examination(s) of the applicant(s). Insurance companies would then do all underwriting followed by contract issuance. Upon my receipt of the issued contract(s), I'd deliver and explain to client(s). At time of my personal dlvy., answer any and all questions; then collect checks for any outstanding premium pymt. in exchange for a receipt. Document all communications and check collections from beginning to end of the process. Assemble analysis and recommendations compatible with clients' needs and goals --- develop a plan suitable for each/every client. When presenting prospective investment clients with recommended mutual funds or variable product subaccount options, explain relative risks and potential returns on investment. Monitor investment progress after sale and hold quarterly discussions & semi-annual or annual in-person performance review meetings with the clients. Adjust, if appropriate, clients' plans as investments' actual performance unfolds &/or as clients' needs and goals change.
