Daily Duties at Intrepid Learning Solutions:
Provides technical instruction to a minimum of six, and up to 30 Boeing Aircraft Company students in the electronics/avionics, mechanical, documentation/drawings, and Quality Assurance Inspection fields. The electrical (one day) courses include Crimping Electrical Terminations in 8 Gauge and Larger and 10 Gauge and Smaller, Crimping of COPALUM Terminals and Splices, Assembly of Electrical Ferrules and Solder Sleeves, and Assembly of Coaxial Connectors. The Quality Assurance courses include Inspection of Shield Terminations ,Inspection of Terminals and Splices (two day course), and Inspection of Coaxial Connectors. The documentation and drawing courses include the Electrical Shop Skills Course (three day), Wire Bundle Information Retrieval System (two days), Production Illustrations, and Product Standards Data System. The mechanical Course includes Electrical Bonding and Ground. All of the courses are conducted in a classroom with an instructor station that includes a computer with projection system, and each student station has a computer as well. Many of the courses also involve performing tasks on aircraft and simulators.
