Daily Duties at Xerox Corporation:
Serve as Project Manager for the Patient Reminder Notification (PRN) Project on behalf of the Department of Veteran Affairs and provide keen oversight for the deployment of eight parent facilities under the VISN 7 umbrella and facilities throughout VISN 6, 9 and 16. Perform the daily processing of the PRN files and produce a weekly average of 25,000 cards to be mailed to Veterans throughout the United States. Responsible for designing and maintaining thirty templates to be utilized by the system to inform Veterans of upcoming events such as appointments, flu shot notifications and special events. Provide monthly reporting and tracking mechanisms to the Department of Veteran Affairs and saved the entity an estimated $32,000 in postage and overhead costs through FY10 utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles, quantitative analysis, PRN technology and setting in place a transition plan from the previous VISTA appointment letters. Also responsible for briefing local and regional VA Management on the progress of the program. Deliver graphic design and consultation services for the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) staff in an effort to create final proofs, optimize document design for quality and meet reproduction qualifications.
