Daily Duties at Defense Intelligence Agency:

Project Manager, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) (2004-2011) Leadership role in the coordination, supervision, and daily tracking of team activities, to include the day-to-day logistics and administrative functions of a nine (9) member staff directly related to the overall contract support operation and execution of the Agency’s directives and missions, ensuring successful project execution and meeting of project requirements. Performed staff assignments; work breakdown structure; scheduling; monitoring and tracking of progress against the defined timetables and budget. Ensured that the Project was in compliance with all applicable requirements of the contract as well as terms and conditions of the RFP and proposal. Provided direction and customer interface in the delivery of highly visible and time sensitive passports and visa documentation as well as CLASSIFIED information up to and including the TOP SECRET level, for DIA civilian and military personnel. Allocated logistical resources, utilizing authoritative skills and capacity resulting in operational and resource efficiency that met both the teams and unit’s goals and objectives. Information Management and logistical processes utilized to define objectives, conduct research, analyze findings, and provide solutions to ad hoc customer issues and changing project requirements. Developed, managed, maintained, and updated the daily Passport and Visa Log which detailed all visas submitted via courier to foreign embassies, provided the projected date of visa issuance, pertinent embassy information, as well as a tracking timeline of visa specific issues and the actions taken toward reconciliation. Passport Agent & Visa Specialist for the Travel & Transportation Office, leveraging knowledge and understanding of passport and visa requirements to provide advice and guidance to world-wide agency travelers and contractors on their missions abroad. Served as subject matter expert, advising senior level management, military, and government civilians in matters pertaining to passport and visa logistics and the preparation of required documentation. Created, wrote, and produced visa sponsorship letters required to sustain a large network of agency contractors, civilians, and military personnel supporting DIA mission objections.
