Daily Duties at Waltham Committee:
Assisted with the supervision of 12 program staff and day-to-day program operations of the residential center for the 4 clients served-I am responsible for overseeing shift documentation provided by staff to ensure professional and accurate reporting.I implement all behavior plan interventions as assigned. I ensure that Staff are collecting data accurately and processing the data and document that data accurately on their monthly report to ensure they are meeting their yearly established objectives which they choose to work on during the ISP year. Provided assistance in the planning, development, and implementation of individual’s program plans. Ensure individuals’ participants in all ISP/IEP process I was responsible for ongoing professional development training for all direct care staff-I used to teach staff on how to handle aggressive behaviors from the individuals we serve training was called progressive management of aggressive behavior (PMAB). Planned and organized workshops and support groups to facilitate clients’ independence and increased community involvement.I will teaching the individuals on how to properly cross a busy street, the proper bublic buss or train to take from and to home, teaching them on not to speak to stranger and to call 911 if they feel threathen, Teach them to call their home, parents,family members, myself if they are loss in the community.
