Daily Duties at Montclair Board Of Education:

Assigned to the Child Study Teams for Montclair High School and Prek: Responsible for case management duties for high school out of district students and in-district high school students. Provides case supervision and all other duties including coordinating the assessment of new and transfer-in students. Prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and all other documents and notices required to maintain student records and State Files. Provide individual and group counseling. Reevaluations and initial assessments, Annual reviews and preparing all documents necessary for compliance with the policies and procedures of the district as well as the state laws. The liaison with NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Montclair Public Schools for post secondary placements of Montclair graduates. Trained in non-violent crisis intervention. On the Prek Team, my primary responsibility is as a member of the initial assessment team.
