• Synthesized Quinolines with novel anticancer mechanism targeting BCl-2 protein. • Lead optimization of small molecules by designing synthetic routes, performing parallel, combinatorial and microwave assisted synthesis. • Synthesized over 300 Quinoline based small molecules as potential candidate for Alzheimer’s disease, one of the compounds is in preclinical trials. • Discovered novel High-Throughput screening model to identify inhibitors targeting zinc-enhanced amyloid aggregation for Alzheimer’s disease. • Virtual-screening using computer modeling to identify leads as Beta-secretase inhibitor for Alzheimer’s disease. • Synthesis, purification and analysis of small molecules by HPLC, LC-MS, SEC, KF, MS-MS, NMR, UV-Vis, IR, SDS-PAGE, DSC, TGA, GC, Prep-TLC. • Worked closely in team of computational medicinal chemist, cell biologist, neurologist and cancer researcher.
