Evaluate manufacturing processes. Evaluate value of new equipment and vendors. Develop new processes by evaluating product requirements and testing new manufacturing methods and equipment. Improvement of manufacturing efficiency. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished- product and process capabilities, establishing standards, confirming manufacturing processes are being followed. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Insure compliance with government regulations. Coordinate maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures and scheduling specialized services as needed.
