Daily Duties at United States Marine Corps:
Program Manager & Enterprise Network & Security Manager responsible for more than 70 metropolitan networks, and annual operating budget of $50 million related to network upgrades for 36 global organizations. Lead for team of 12 Marine/Civilian network engineers tasked with the implementation, maintaining, and troubleshooting of a global secure network utilizing a variety of Cisco technologies (routers/firewalls/switches), IDS, Microsoft Windows Active Directory, and Solaris hosts as well as lead for team of 18 Marine/Civilian network engineers responsible for an X.400 NT infrastructure of 170,000 accounts; as well as a 24x7 Tier III help desk that provided on-site global response services and support to USMC commands world wide. Managed full life cycle integration for secure LAN/WAN and messaging architectures in various locations world-wide. Provided direct and indirect BGP and OSPF routing support for globally dispersed, dynamic nodes.
