Daily Duties at Khgi Tv:
I assisted the producer for the Good Morning Nebraska show and NTV News at Noon every morning starting at 3:30 AM. I also created a role where I harnessed strong shooting, editing, and writing skills as the station's first morning reporter/live truck operator/producer. I literally served as my own live truck operator as I reported live on location and in studio for our morning and noon show, while helping post to the web and our social media sites. I utilized social media to post stories and to find new ones. Every day I generated three new stories and edited them in both linear and non-linear fashion. I was also in charge of the weekly franchise "The Storm Report", which previewed the local junior hockey team's upcoming games. During this time I learned to write multiple packages on deadline and develop strong ad-lib skills.
