Daily Duties at Chief Petty Officer U.S. Navy:

Chief Petty Officer/Combat Systems Underway Instructor/Navy Explosive Safety Inspector, Afloat Training Group Directed all training of Navy and Coast Guard personnel on large/small caliber weapons operation, maintenance and combat tactics. Inspected shipboard magazines, sprinkler systems and armories to ensure explosive safety compliance. Leading Chief Petty Officer, Combat Gunnery Division, USS Paul Hamilton DDG 60 Developed comprehensive educational programs and delivered weekly training on weapons handling and force protection. Presented regular technical briefings to the Commander, officers, department heads and shipboard crew. Combat Systems and Explosive Safety Team Leader, Afloat Training Group Crafted programs and executed over 200 training missions. Conducted ordinance compliance inspections and furnished briefings, reports and presentations to Flag/Commanding Officers of Navy and Coast Guard surface ships throughout the Pacific.
