*Investigated, evaluated, negotiated and settled fire claims, which included verifying coverage, legal liability and the extent of damages to persons and property -Secured releases from appropriate parties -Assisted agents in the settlement of claims -Prepared written or computerized estimates in loss settlement -Resolved a large volume of claim calls in a claim central environment -Evaluated facts of the loss and liability analysis to determine appropriate settlement options. -Effectively communicated with customers, witnesses, agents, other insurance companies, attorneys, outside vendors, and others in the course of processing the claim
