As the Applications Manager I worked closely with the programmer and corporate payroll departments in the up keep and management of the AS400 Infinium database. My duties included: payroll entry, review, verify and process enrollment of new employees. Monitor deduction amounts for employees. Input and maintain employee benefit records. Preparation of annual government reports (EE0-1 and 5500). Personnel training support of AS400 Infinium for HR employees in other divisions throughout the country on the use of the AS 400 database. Reviewed and reconciled wire transfers and monthly payments of bills to insurance carriers, administrative handling of all Flex Spending accounts and COBRA Administration, payroll processing for the corporate office, administrative assistance during the annual open enrollment period, coordinate planning of employee activities and events handled through the HR department, and spreadsheet management.
