Duties and responsibilities primarily include correspondence, technical guidance, cost estimating, and communication between the US government and commercial contractors conducting work on the military bases. Develops Statements of Work for projects, including initial fact finding operations, cost estimating, technical evaluations of contractor proposals, and negotiation of final pricing/cost. Reviews drawings and specifications for technical accuracy. Mobilizes to project sites for development of criteria and compiling of information for implementation of projects. Provided advise to project managers at the base, and helps to manage projects at various Air Force bases in the Continental United States. Managed 20 projects worth over $30 million.
