Daily Duties at Gwf Power Systems:

assist Control Room operator by monitoring plant operationsin the field. Other duties consist of maintaining plant equipment such as generator,turbine.pumps,air compressors,bag houses Fans and Reverse Osmosis units.Perform daily water chemistry on cooling tower,boiler,and effluent waters. also preform free lime testing on synthetic gypsum. Composite monthly,weekly and daily fuel samples. Maintain records an log books log entries and coounicate with other plants. Lock out tag out plant equipment for maintenance when needed Take readings from charts,meters and gauges at established intervals,and take corrective steps as necessary, Diagnose mechanical problems and determines how to correct them. Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists,cranes,hand tools,and power tools. Complete site predictive maintenance rounds monthly,weekly,daily. Collect water samplesrequired for laboratory analysis.Control and maintain auxiliary equipmentat a minimum such as pumps,fans,condensers,feedwater heaters,and filters to supply water,fuel,lubricants,air and auxiliary power.
