Daily Duties at Jarden Home Brands:
Responsible for quality and safety at two facilities - Sacramento, California and Greenville, Texas. · Successfully guided company through OSHA inspections. · Monitored employees and contractors for compliance to safety policies and protocols. · Developed and conducted safety training, Powered Industrial Truck training, safety toolboxes, safety committee meetings, contractor safety training, evacuation drills, facility safety inspections, and incident investigations. Made recommendations to prevent recurrences and conducted disciplinary actions. · Developed safety training presentations, Job Safety Analysis’ for processes, Process Safety Management, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, Waste Minimization Plans, IIPP plan (California), Emergency Action Plans, NPDES and air permits, and Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to Environmental and Safety Management. · Supervised the Quality Lab, reviewed quality testing, developed quality standard operating procedures, and implemented the 5S program.
