Daily Duties at Seton Hall University:
Teaching Assistant for the undergraduate and graduate immunology, cell culture, histology, genetics, and general biology laboratories • Prepare syllabi and curriculum for assigned courses • Prepare lesson outlines and labs in assigned subject areas • Present subject matter to students using lectures, discussions, or demonstrations • Plan, prepare, and develop various teaching aids such as Power Point presentations, charts, supplementary notes and visual models • Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups in order to help them master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented in lab or lecture • Schedule and maintain regular office hours to meet with students • Order materials and reagents needed for laboratories • Prepare and proctor examinations
